What about the bees and beneficial insects?

All of Mary’s technicians are trained to follow strict state regulations. These regulations include, not spraying flowers or other pollinator bushes, and not spraying when bees are present. Our treatment is specifically designed to target small mosquitoes, not pollinators.

Does it work even if my neighbors don't treat?

While it helps if the neighbors follow good lawn grooming habits, we focus on one property at a time. Yes, it works for just one yard. We work to kill adult mosquitos currently on the property, and those that try to come from other properties. Plus, we work with the property owner to remove or treat potential mosquito breeding areas on the property. A treatment in average weather lasts approximately 3 weeks. Extreme weather can impact the longevity of the product, but Mary’s Guarantee ensures that if you are not happy with the service, we will come back and retreat with a Booster Spray, for free.

What do I need to do to prepare for your visit?

Debris: Remove any debris that may hold water. Clean base of gutters from debris.

Water: Remove or cover water collection containers – empty bird baths and dog dishes

Grill: Remove cooking utensils from outdoor cooking areas and cover grills – empty grill drip pans

Mowing: Mow and trim yard prior to treatment – trim bushes and shrubs to increase air flow

Toys: Remove toys from all treatment areas.

Compost Piles: Drain excess water from potted plants and turn compost piles

Parties: We should treat 1 week and a few days prior to a party because if 20 people are in your yard mosquitoes can sense the CO2 footprint from 7 yards away

Do you offer one-time only treatments for a party, or special outdoor events?

Yes, we do! Our Event Blocker protection option is the perfect mosquito and tick control solution for any special upcoming outdoor event.

Do you spray my lawn?

Mosquitoes don’t normally use grass as a resting area, but ticks do!

During our barrier treatments we target the ideal areas where mosquitoes congregate and breed. The most common spots will be under decks, dense foliage, underneath leaves and debris and damp shady areas behind bushes and shrubbery.

We do offer an added tick control services that requires your lawn to be treated. Ask our friendly team members for more information.

How long should we keep the kids, and pets off the lawn?

If we have just treated your property, we recommend waiting 15 minutes until the product has dried. Once dry, you and your family can enjoy the outdoors again!

Do I need to be home when you treat our property?

No, you do not need to be home while we treat your property. Upon completion of each treatment our technician will leave notification of their services.

How often will you treat our property?

With our full-season protection you can expect our technicians to spray every 17 to 21 days with the Customized option and every 14 days for All-natural.

How long will it take to treat my property?

On average our technicians will need approximately 10-15 minutes per treatment. Although, larger yards may take longer to treat.

Does the All-Natural treatment really work?

Absolutely! It’s not only a better option for the environment, it’s proven to eliminate mosquitoes and ticks on contact and repel for up to 14 days. We are so confident about our barrier spray and application techniques we offer a money-back 100% satisfaction guarantee!

What happens if it rains after you treated my yard?

If it rains after we treat your yard, you may have a wet yard, but rest assured that our mosquito control solution uses water-locking technology and will not wash away with rain. However, after any heavy rain, it is common to see an increase in mosquito activity. Therefore, we kindly ask that you allow 48 hours for the treatment to reactivate. This will allow our solution to effectively regain its full potency and provide maximum protection against these pests.

Additionally, between treatments, it greatly helps to empty any standing water in your yard. Mosquitoes lay their eggs in standing water, so removing any sources of standing water can help reduce the mosquito population in your yard.

If your yard has had ample time to dry after the application treatment (approximately 15 minutes), heavy rain should not alter the effectiveness of your treatment. However, if you feel that the rain has impacted the quality of your service, we will gladly return to re-treat your property – free of charge! – before your next scheduled visit within 7 days. Our 100% satisfaction guarantee is something we take very seriously, and we want to ensure that you are completely happy with our service.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. We appreciate your help in keeping your property mosquito-free!
